Despite everything that happened, Chris wanted to maintain some form of friendship with Nicole. However, what's in the past is done. Although Chris brought the Doctor's words, his wish to be with Sonic forever wasn't granted. Nicole had to break off what they have. In all honesty, since Sonic came into her life, Chris felt more like a classmate than a friend. Although she knew Danny, Frances, and Helen, she was associated with the three of them more than Chris. Danny and Frances had already ended their friendship with him. Helen was being more patient, but she felt it wouldn't take long for her to do the same. It was time she followed their lead. "Nicole, Dad wants me to work in a soup kitchen after school," Chris brought up at school one day. "Have you ever seen one?" "No, but I feel it's for the best that you volunteer there," Nicole remarked. "In fact, I'd rather you didn't tag along with me at all." The boy's eyes went wide with alarm. Because since Chris Thorndyke from the Sonic The Hedgehog anime series called 'Sonic X' even exists and if Sonic had a little sister or female cousin from the first Sonic The Hedgehog game who was loved by another male Mobian also from the first Sonic The Hedgehog game as well, it would've been horrible if Chris was a much worse Gary-Stu who also stole another original male Sonic The Hedgehog character's girlfriend/crush/love-interest after developing a crush on her as well other than just stealing both Amy Rose's and Tails' two different spotlights/thunders. This pairing between Chris Thorndyke and Sonic's sister or female cousin would've been the equivalent of SonElise (Sonic x Elise) if it existed, and I also would've hated that pairing as much as I hate both Sonally and SonElise as well. And if Sonic X had a different ending before Chris grew up, Chris would've kissed Sonic's sister/female cousin similar to Elise kissing Sonic at the end of the 2006 Sonic The Hedgehog game. People

The Worst Gary-Stu Character You'd Ever Imagine!
A type of Gary-Stu male character who's a new main male character who does both awful things by both stealing an older main character's spotlight/thunder and as well as stealing another older main male character's girlfriend who is an older main female character after developing a crush on her. So, if there's a type of new Gary-Stu male character like that, he'd be similar to Chris Thorndyke from 'Sonic X', Goh from 'Pokemon Journeys', Hidetoshi Dekisugi from 'Doraemon', Rothion Alexander from 'Soulcalibur', and Hinata Hyuga from 'Naruto'. He's the teenage/adult equivalent of Chris and Goh for being a spotlight-stealer and of Dekisugi for being so perfect in every way, and he's also the male equivalent of Hinata for taking an older main character's love-interest who's another older main character away after falling in love with an older main female character (however, the Mary-Sue role may be similar but it's a bit of the opposite: Naruto loves Sakura yet is loved by Hinata and Hinata
